Just in case anybody out there is looking to take out a mortgage,in view of the fact that banks are continuing to change their mortgage criteria, making it a far more challenging process. We were in a nightmare situation when we were badly let down by Barclays es. just two weeks prior to our completion date. Fortunately someone on the forum recommended a mortgage broker who has been an absoloute life saver for us, delivered every promise she made and more, we had a new offer in place in no time, which was actually better than the original one.  She charged a one off payment of 300Euros, but it was the best money we have spent. She has continued to help and support us even after completion, not sure we would have survived the buying process without her guidance.
