House insurance

Hello!

Hopefully someone will be able to help me out here. I'm putting together some advice on the legalities of renting your property on a long-term basis.

I have read somewhere that it is the tenant's responsibility to pay 'house' insurance - could someone clarify if this is building or contents insurance? I have looked through Maria's articles but can't see anything about it in there, unless I've missed it.
