We finished buying our property in October and paid our lawyer fees immediately, including any amounts outstanding that were brought to our attention. We have just had a demand for another 500 euros for work that they said they had not accounted for in that period ( letters, and change of name on the deeds, etc) . It seems to me to be a bit ridiculous to demand money eight months after we have bought the property and paid our final bill to our lawyers. If anything was outstanding and not accounted for surely they should have brought this to our attention much sooner. Can this be legal to demand this extra fee eight months later?
