An update for you all and I will try to keep this updated as it goes along. I knew that homeowners could be at risk of eventually settling the compensation clains and Marbella Town Hall have requsted from the Junta the powers to take legal action against Gil and others in an attempt to claim back some of the millions of euros siphoned off!

But in the maentime, It may be an idea to be very very careful if you are considering buying in any of these developments - many still wont have their first licence of occupation so if you ensure you ask your lawyer about it and EVEN IF he/she says dont worry as its a minor infringement, make sure you ask what the infringement is and if it affects you directly either now or in the future.

It is every likelihood that owners who purchased without knowledge will be spared from the possible fines BUT anyone who bought after the news was out will be deemed to have knowledge and therefore bought taking the chance!
