Internet Banking

Does anyone use Caixa Galicia for on line banking?

We have been sent all of the cards and PINs but the instructions are in Spanish, we've been on the website and tried to follow the demo but it doesn't help, also spoke to someone at the bank but still not sorted.

If anyone has used it successfully would you please PM me?

Hi, No never used that Caixa Galacia.  But have used Bank of Valencia I could not get on line with them so when I went over asked the Bank for help and it was because I should have kept the capital lock on.  Which I have never done for UK Banks. 

But ask the bank to send you instructions of what to do.

Thanks for the reply.

The problem is that you have to enter 2 sets of digits into seperate boxes, 1 box requires 8 digits, but there are only 6 on the card, and the second box requires 4 digits and there are 6 on the fob.

I've tried different combinations but you only get 3 attempts before the card gets locked, this happened but I've been told that it has been unlocked.

Unfortunately there are no printed instructions available in English yet.

 Hi Alan,

Go to the Caixa Galicia site and click the "Entrar" button. Enter the card number of the coordinates card, it is written in the bottom left hand corner of the actual card (Tarjeta nº 123.456).

Then click the pin number box and enter a 4 digit PIN (1234)

Then you will be sent a text message telling you the coordinate you have to type in the next window eg J1.

That´s it!

 I see where the confusion arises - the fact that the first field allows you to enter 8 digits. Ignore it, enter the 6 on your coordinates card and manually tab across or use the mouse.
