I have just had an e-mail from Gwilliam Rhys Jones Solicitor acting on behalf of the COSTA DEL SOL action group who are taking legal action against GRUPO MIRADOR for similar things that they are doing as GRUPO URBASA., PALMERA PROPERTIES HEAD OFFICE in BENALMADENA has now closed down and is deserted, NO STAFF,NO PHONE CALLS etc etc.

Gwillam is making good headway against this bunch of robbing B......S with the help of NAOMI WEBB.

Since in my opinion it seems almost certain that we will never see our money back or get our apartments is'nt it about time we found a good ENGLISH SPEAKING SPANISH SOLICITOR in ALMORADI or surrounding area who has a good knowledge of what is going on with GRUPO URBASA and PALMERA PROPERTIES with regards this PROJECT.?

How long does it take to do an INTERNAL AUDIT? GRUPO URBASA are taking the P..S in my opinion.!

How many people are interested in taking this route? and form a COSTA BLANCA ACTION GROUP?

There are 40 Fully paid up members in the CDSAG and they are making a lot of headway and chances are they are going to get there money back, or at the very least some of it which is better than nothing which is what we are getting from GRUPO URBASA!

From what Gwillam tells me it will cost each of us around 750 EUROS each

The people responsible down on the COSTA DEL SOL are now RUNNING SCARED with PRISON SENTENCES hanging over some of these SCRUPULUS people

Can you  compare the situation of the costa del sol group with that of Amarion III? I thought the main problems for the CDS group there were lack of build licences, misrepresentations etc? ie all legal issues.  

Amarion III has beeen 90pct built so as far as I know there is not problem with build licence or other such legalities

Urbasa they admit have financial problems and need time to get funds to finish the project. are they just buying time (for what purpose?) or genuinely trying to finalise? wether they succeed or not (and I sincerly hope they do) remains to be seen, Meantime we have 2 options ie to formerly cancel or hang in for as long as patience will allow. Those that have cancelled will probably have to go to court to get any refund monies back as the only way Urbasa will be able to repay will be once they have funds coming in from completing not only on this project but maybe others which also from previous mails may have also  been put on hold.

So a lawyer will be useful for those who have cancelled but for those of us who have not yet taken that step what purpose would it serve at this stage apart from lining the lawyers pockets with yet even more cash?

Palmera as everyone will agree have behaved abysmally but what  legal action can be taken against them as regards Amarion III?  In anycase my contract is signed by Urbasa and not Palmera and correctly reflects the monies I have paid already. So what action against Urbasa?

For me personally I will need to be convinced that a lawyers intervention now will make any difference at all to the final outcome. 

Lets have some view from others on this

I am taking urbasa to court to get my money back, I think i have given them enough time now to sort this building out and we havent heard anything from them ( not even a phonecall )

i cant wait any longer now i have instructed my spanish solicitor to sort this out asap

i know most of you guys are hanging in there and i wish you all GOOD LUCK  and i hope it all turns out fine for you

I Personally dont beleive anything about  audits or anything else and i think there will be more excuses to come in the future

But i do think it will be built sooner or later -  but dont hold me to that

The solicitor we are using says its best to wait for a few months he says we would win in court no doubt but without any money how could they pay us back ,they have more to lose by not completing than us.

I have attempted to contact Urbassa since monday no response so far to our emails

I would like to join any action group to get the money back.   What will the cost be.   Will this be cheaper if we all act together.   Can anyone give me the website, address or phone number for the lawyer you intend to use.

Harvey 1, hi

Gwylm has wanted us all to join his fight against Palmera for months now! Just cos he is on CDS ,.....Costa Blanca ...us.. would have been included on that. We were going to all fight together. I think they now have their claim well on the way...without us??

We all seem to be stuck in this...shall we? ....shall we not?....state at the moment. No one seems to know what to do for the best! Everyones head is in bits. I think every one of us wish we had never even heard of Amarion III.I tried to get a group of us to fight together last year...but I think cos there is so much money at stake...everyone ...and rightly so ..is very careful about what they do next..

We are just at the moment, in the process of cancelling the furniture we ordered for Amarion III...foolish....YES I KNOW!!!!! Probably lose money there too!!!!We....hope we all eventually get our money back which ever way we plan to do it. Or apartments for those who still want it The years keep rolling on and we go to visit the site every month to see the same old , same old!!
