As we are travelling over to Spain at the end of the month we contacted Ballester, through our agent, to find out if the show apartment is ready yet. The reply we got back was that it is not yet ready and Ballester are not sure when it will be. The agent suggested we contact Ballester nearer the end of the month for a progress report.

Will keep you all posted if we get any more information.

Thanks for your message.  Gilly and John are over there this week and I know they were looking forward to seeing the show place or at the very least the colour scheme.  Hope they can work something out.  Our Ballestar contact lady has returned to her native Norway and as yet there is no replacement so we have no information for you.  No new pictures on the Ballestar web site for October as yet. Enjoy your trip at the end of the month.  Will you get to Altea or will you stay in La Manga.  We are not due to visit until mid December for a quick four days.  Only 10 weeks!!

Hello All

We will be over in Spain for a week, initially at La Manga and then driving up to the Altea area where we will spend the last 2 nights. We have arranged to meet up with a representative from our agent, Ocean Estates for a days shopping for furnishings for the apartment during our time near Altea. We have been told that we will be taken to a variety of shops and if we decide to buy anything the goods will be delivered and installed before we use the apartment for the first time. They will also arrange for any light fittings and such like to be fitted.

We will be staying at the Victoria Apartments in Calpe which we have used before and found to be very comfortable and reasonably priced. Will give an update report on how the building work is progressing when we return.

Thanks for the info on the Victoria Apartments.  We will look into these for possibly renting there for the closing next summer.  Hope you have a great trip later this month.  We are envious.  This month's picture on the Ballestar website has it coming along nicely.  We have been told that there are several furniture places in the Denia area but I'm sure your agent will know the places to visit.  We found that you needed to have a good command of Spanish in some stores - which we are still working on.  Hope all goes well for your sale in La Manga.  John and Gilly should be back at the weekend so it will be good to have an update.
