HP printer info please

Hi All,

My solicitor advises me that stamp duty, notary and land registry fees are 1% of the purchase price which is OK.

But he then says that when I arrange my mortgage there is a further charge of

Stamp duty 2% of the borrowed  price

Notary and land registry 1% of the borrowed price .

Surely we do not pay stamp duty,notary and land registry twice, can anyone advise please.

Hi,

  we have just been sent a break down of our amounts to be added to our purchase price, which include

stamp duty tax on the purchase price 1%

stamp duty tax on the mortgage (no % quoted here but an amount of 250 euros)

notary and registry fees .

arrangement fees (on the mortgage)

utility fees.

legal fees

we also are confused. We have taken the builders mortgage where we thought there were no arrangement fees. so we hope to sort this out when we go to complete.zas
