Hi,
I am trying to find out how many English speakers there are on our complex, since the majority seem to be Spanish.  There are a few issues that I want to raise at the community meeting, some such as satellite TV reception for English free to view programs - which are only relevant for English speakers.  Hence to get the community to agree to something for us may be difficult (if most people who vote are Spanish).   Also the meeting is only in Spanish, so if there are enough of us, they may get an interpreter.

I havent bought there but i know it very well and yes most buyers are spanish (holiday makers from Madrid in the main) - this isnt as big a problem as it sounds though. Normally they never bother to come to meetings to vote! Also there might well be investors looking to rent their properties there - who will be keen to offer tv for british holiday makers. 

At the end of the day - stick to your guns and make a fuss - ofeten it is he who makes the most noise - gets his way in these issues.

We finally completed. And we have been told that by law there must be interpreters for the laugrages attendees speak. So we have the right to insist the community provide an interpreter.
