After posting in another thread i've had a few PM's asking to post some pictures on here regards some poor aircon installation in block 275
As some of you may know i've had a few issues with some holes in the block roof so i have spent far more time up there than normal and some of the installations i have witnessed are very poor to say the least , these problems you won't see from your apartment and you aircon may be working fine for now but , theses are the poor intallation issues i have seen.
Poorly positioned units (bad air flow) which will shorten the life of the unit.
No rubber feet fitted to stop vibration , doesn't do the unit anygood and will cause a noise for people on the 3rd floor, the more air con units fitted like this the worse this will get for the occupents .
Poor quality pipe guard ( this protects the pipe between the wall and the unit)
If you live in apartments C,D the space is an issue as all 8 aparments share one wall for all the aircon units to fit , the same goes for E,F its ,for apartments A,B , G,H things are a little better as these are back to back on two sides of the wall so lots more space comapared to the others
