hi to all who live or have apartment on condado de alhama

 We are looking at buying on this complex...any feedback would be much appreciated.

eg how many bars / restaurants...is it like a ghost town? how far from airport, pros and cons etc etc

Each time we come out we find another bar or restaurant opening, it's great!

At the moment in Al Kasar you have the Clover Bar, the Bulgarian Restaurant, La Cata Restaurant, La Bokao tapas bar, an ice cream parlour (can't remember the name) and I understand there are two more opening there soon, if not already. One is a french patisserie, and the other a 50's style American Diner.

You also have the Condado Club bar & restaurant which is about 10 minutes walk from Al Kasar, which is situated next to the tennis courts. I believe, they also have a petanque court which apparently is a form of french bowls; we didn't get the chance to try it last time.

We now have the temporary club house, we popped down to have a look when we were out last and it looks really nice.

I expect it's getting quieter now, but we came out at the beginning of September and the whole place was buzzing!

It takes about 45 minutes to get there from Murcia (San Javier) airport and approximately 1 hour 15 minutes from Alicante Airport.

Hopefully, Corvera Airport will be open next year, and I understand it's about 20/25 minutes from there.

We love it, and just wish we could come out more often!

Hi Guys. If you like peace, tranquility and a bit of your own paradise go for it. We love the place and cant get out there often enough.Every time we go we find something new has opened up and theres more to come.The surrounding areas are lovely to explore and theres always something for everyone.

Can anyone comment on the build quality of the apartments please, any 'known' problems to look out for. Has there been any re-painting scheduled ?

I have seen today that some apartments have been advertised for €40k. Are all 2 bed apartments onsite only 1 bath ? Do you know if it is possible to 'squeeze' another shower room in anywhere ?

Hi, where are they advertised at 40k? Wouldn’t mind having another at that price.

Place much busier this Oct' last year same time all very quiet, got back yesterday, CDA gets better each year.

As for extra bath in a two bed. we have a two bed but doubt if you will find any room for a second bathroom or shower room.

However I do believe that some of the 3 beds on La Isla have a second bathroom & of course there are other 2 bed, two bath propertys but I cannot remember what they are called.

Hope you find your ideal holiday home as we have done. The two bed have great outdoor space re the roof terrace. All day sun if you want it.
