OTCC Deposit Refund

Hi, has anyone who transferred contract from ACC to OTCC made a claim in respect of recovering their deposit? Was it successful. can anyone reccommend best course of action for this?

Just to inform you that today we received all our money back from the bank. It did take a couple of years but worth it in the end.

The bank settled out of court

I didn't think anyone had a BG on OCTT. We definitely didn't. How do you get the Banks to pay up.....interesting or what.

we had the original bank guarantee from Almonzora country club my solicitor delt with the bank and they settled out of court with interest to date. dont give up . We used Davis solictors . If you need any other help please email me

Hi and congratulations on having your money returned.  I don't think there ever was too much of a problem in doing this if you held a bank guarantee though the problem is huge if you don't.  I was just very surprised that you opted for OTCC when you were holding a bank guarantee as I certainly would have taken the money and run away from Huma as fast as possible.

Well done anyway at least you have your money and are free to spend as you wish.

we had no choice to cash in at that time and we thought it would get built. But hey we got it all back including 6 years interest so not out of pocket. good luck to all of you

With 6 years interest and the way the exchange rate has gone this must have been one hell of a good investment.   I am glad someone has come out of this well.
