Re: Response from MASSA re Building Licences

Received an e-mail from MASSA today  find copy below:-

Dear Stella & Nigel,

I am writing in response to your email of the 23rd February regarding Sierra Golf Urbanización.

I wish to confirm that Procobar,S.A. have the building licences for phases 1,2 and 3 of Sierra Golf, however, I cannot confirm that they have the licence to construct the golf course as we do not have that information as yet.

Thank you very much for this update. It is very re-assuring. I have to say I am not a fan of MASA anymore but there does seem to be a lot of possible unfair negative publicity going on about them.

I hope, as I am sure we all do, that they get some properties handed over soon, with everything OK then perhaps this scare mongering will stop?

When I bought in 2004, I was told that MASA had owned the land for 15 years. In 2005, when the delays started, I was told that not all the necessary permits were in place so they did not start any building. As I understand it, they were not going to build one house until they had all the licences. I am sure this e mail is accurate, they are such a huge company, they would not risk it.

the email you got from massa was very interesting,but can you clear up one point for me ? was it from massa the builder or was it from massa the estate agent,?as they are noway connected to each other.
