Rose & Thistle

My mum and dad are over in San Cayetano at the moment.  I directed them to the Rose & Thistle telling them they would get a great welcome and somthing good to eat and drink.  On there arival it was closed at 8pm on Tuesday night.  They have since been told the place has changed hands and Mark doesn,t own it any more.  Is this true or have they gone to the wrong place.  I hope, cos I enjoyed my time at this great place.

I was over a 2 weeks ago and Mark & Julie where running it then but they don't open on Tuesdays.

 have  just been into the Rose and Thistle this morning and all is well, they have redecorated and renamed the bar La Rosa but Mark and Julie are still running the bar and providing the usual good range of food.  During winter they close all day on a Tuesday to get a well earnt day off.

Surprise, surprise........another untrue rumour!  People beware unless you see it with your own eyes don't believe it!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Where do these people get off on spreading untruths about others? It drives me mad!!

Donna - unusual for me to post on here these days but unfounded gossip is rife in SC and makes my blood boil. But hey, why let the truth spoil a good story eh?

hi all we were in s/c last week and went to rose and thisle now named "rosa`s" spoke to julie still the proprietor so all its amounts to is a lot of  "old women" gossiping in s/c they must be sad and might do better going to bingo and let people get on with their life.................shame
