Bad Service @ the Clover

Today as we went up in the Clover to have a relaxing Drink, we had a bed experience with the two girls behind the bar.

First our Friend asked for a cocktail card, which was already to much asked. with a grumpy face the lady came back and presented us the small card.she wasn't very pleased to prepare the ordert one.

As i and my husband don't drink we asked for the only non alkohol cocktail SAN FRANCISCO they offer, which we got just last sunday in there from a very friendly barman. so exactly 4 days ago. the barmaid did as she never heard of the ONLY non alcohol drink so she went over to the other one. the other barmaid knew what i was on about but told me with a harsh tone straight out they don't do them. i complaint and gave her to understanding that we had one only 4 days ago. both of them went back talking about us. when they came back the girl who served us first went away to start to do my friend order and the other one came even more grumpi to us and told me again she doesn't do it. after she saw my disapointment and anger she started to wispert to the other one and started to prepare for a SAN FRANCISCO. as well i heard her saying to the other one that i could have said at least please. i got so angry that we canceld the hole order, told her that she could have been a bit friendlier and i'm not happy with that service. she couldn't understand my anger and was even given out about me as a customer

as this resort is already not what it should be and doesn't get better in near future shouldn't at least the existing services be a bit friendlier and nicer?

so next time i should order maybe coke and vodka or a beer to get better service. because thats how i felt today. if you want a nice holiday drink or cocktail to relaxe get an alcoholic one or stay at home....

I wouldn't take it personally. 

The service has been bad nearly every time I have been in the bar.  The girls there treat taking orders as an unwanted interruption to their listening to music and gossiping.

 my mate who owns the apartment with me went up sat night wi his mum and it was full but although he was at the front of the que the bar girls always served the spanish fisrt so he walked out as did our next door neighbour and i no the can drink so they lost a few quid that night 

Try and speak spainish to the girls, it helps.

It was so bad at one of the Friday night events in the summer we returned to our apartment, picked up a bottle of wine, a bottle of coke and glasses and returned to the bar for the entertainment. Very cheap night and the service was great as it was 'self serve' ! Not being able to run a drinking session in a bar must be even harder than not being able to run one in a brewery !

 well am over on sat and no doubt daughter an son in law will wana try it but they av never had bad service there

 Problem is, the only people  you can complain to about the floppsies are.......The floppsies.

We did the same as Kev1, dont mind paying a bit extra to drink in the Clover, what I dont like is having to go inside and beg or steal cushions to sit comfortably outside and I definately am not queueing up for over half an hour at least to get served! We ended up on the busy nights picking our drinks earlier from the supermarket [so Polaris were still getting our business] then turning up with a cooler bag full. As Kev1 says, cheap night and good service, If Polaris are unwilling or unable to cater for their customers, Tough!
