Supermarkets

Hi.  I have friends heading over to Roda on Sunday 4th July.  They will be arriving at 6pm.  Does anyone know if any of the supermarkets will be open?

Hi, the only one open, as it is always open, is Eroski in the shopping mall of Dos Mares, between San Pedro de Pinatar and San Javier.

The Minimarket on site ie beside the sales office on the way to the Clubhouse, which is very well stocked and well priced, is open until 8.00pm at least if not 9.00pm on a Sunday. If you wish to email them (theminimarket@hotmail.es) they will make up an order for your guests and you or your guests can pay by card or cash. The supermarket Eroski at Dos Mares is open on Sunday evenings but it is really busy then and car parking is at a premium so your guests might prefer to get the basics in the minimarket and get their other things the following day when the local supermarkets open again and there will be no problem getting parked or standing in long queues after a flight.

A lot of my clients use the Minimarket ordering by email and find Sue and Paul really helpful. It is a  great facility to have on site and is being operated for the owners and residents of Roda so it is good to support local people doing a good job.

There is a 24hour shop in the centre of San Javier, next door to DFS just follow their signs from airport. Seems to sell all essentials and is literally open all year and 24hrs per day, very useful.
