Hi,

Just wondering if anyone from Phase 1 can help me with a few questions???

I am hoping to go out for about 3 weeks this summer (assuming handover does take place in June!!). However, just wondering if it is really necessary to hire a car for the total time or if it possible to easily commute between the 2 resorts.

I am aware that there is a good supermarket and restaurants / bars in La Torre so it would be great if was possible to walk to them or maybe take a taxi???

Any advice would be great!

Thanks,

Paws

Hi Paws

I assume you are expecting to be spending most of your time sorting out your apartment rather than sightseeing so whilst I don't think walking is an option, taxis would be a possibility.

Roldan is also on your doorstep and will offer a larger and probably cheaper option for eating than La Torre. I understand that many bars & restaurants in Roldan will offer to collect & return you if you are booking a table - don't have details I'm afraid.

Hope this helps & good luck when you complete.

Dave

Hi Paws

I would certainly recommend car hire.  It is possible to take taxi's but they are rather expensive (between €15 -20 each way).  You could hire bikes at La Torre and it is only about a 20 minute cycle between Terrazas and either La Torre or Roldan, but if you don;t have a car, you really are going to be restricted.

For instance, even going shopping or picking up bits and pieces for your apartment would be problematic. The area aroud and about Terrazas is fantastic and well worth exploring and although there is a bus service from La Torre to both Murcia and the beaches, a car gives you much more freedom.  Try doyouspain who provide the cheapest car hire quotes and you do not have to pay until arrival.

Good luck

Kim
