cam mortgage rate

Whats the news with the mortgage rate has it dropped yet

We were promised a reveiw initialy last July then this January

Can't see any evidence of  a rate reduction yet (anyone else had the same)

Cam are ignoring my e-mails at the moment - will be on the bounce in march when over next.

Depends on your the basis of your mortgage.  Our mortgage conditions stated a review after 6 months and then yearly thereafter.  We completed mid Sept'08 and our payments came down for the end of May'09 mortgage based on the eurobor rate 3 months prior to the review date.  This was all processed by CAM automatically so I am expecting our end of May'10 mortgage to go down again (significantly as the current euribor rate is so low).

not having much joy with Cam at the minute and starting to get frustrated.

Your payment at the end of Feb, should be at the new rate.

My rate was reviewed in December and my rate was 2.33% in January, fixed for the next 12 months.
