Im new ,need advice !!!

My wife and I paid two deposits in August 2004 with Palmera Properties. We have had no help whatsoever from the lawyer supposedly allocated to us--- ** REMOVED NAME ** of Palmera told us the abogado was Jose Luis Gomez on their website but we never got the chance to meet him. ** REMOVED NAME ** has told us that Grupo Mirador hope to start in March this year. They have taken all properties off their website until all licences etc are clear. Why they did not do this 3 years ago is anybody's guess! They tell us that all is now ready to start and that groundworks are started. We will probably try to take trip to Malaga in March or April as I feel I will have to appoint a different lawyer to look after things--- hopefully just to ensure no further hidden costs or changes to plan. I hope we will not have to chase them for return of deposits as we still would like to have property in this area. If the worst should happen it might be a good idea to have group representation for several affected purchasers. I am going to allow them another couple of months to get their act together. I would value your thoughts.
