Hi All,

I know this has probably been asked a thousand times before, but cant seem to find a quick answer. But can anybody advise what bills I should expect to pay for a 2 bed apartment at CDA:-

Water
Electricity
Comm Fees
Council Tax.
(have I missed any??)

Although I purchased in September, still not received any bills, to be able to plan what my monthly bills would be, to ensure adequate funds to cover them.  The only DD that seems to have been taken is NON RESIDENCE AUTHORISAT. CHARGE and PETICIÓN CERTIF. NO RESIDENCIA, can anybody advise what this is for, or what I should expect to pay for the other bills.

Thanks in advance.

Well this is what I budget but of course Water and Elec will depend on how often you're there.

Tax: €10

IBI: €20

House Ins: €20

Community: €82

Utilities: €25

You may also need to consider any bank charges.  All figures are per month and approximate.

 Hope this helps.

Hi Marshman,

If you have a non-resident account, then by law you must have a "non residence" certificate.  The bank will get this for you, for around €17.50 per account holder.  the cert last for two years.  So if the fees you're refering to were either €17 or €34 for a joint account, that's probably it.

Thanks Phil,

The values were 6.70 Euros and 29 Euros, and it was taken twice for each account holder.

Hi Marshman,

I guess the amount charged will depend on the bank, I'm with CAM.

Nearly there, direct debits also set up except IBI and Tax payments. Although these were paid when I first purchased, I guess there is also a regular payment to be paid.

Can anybody advise what these are for  (ie. council tax and income tax) and if these are monthly or yearly payments and any advise how I go about setting this up greatly appreciated.

Also does anybody know what these charges are for a 2 bed in the Jardines would be?

RPM has just taken Oct, Nov and Dec 2009, and that took a lot of chasing from the solicitor.

I have been promised that the DD is now set up correctly. So it will be interesting who and when the next payment will be taken.
