New Photos 15/3/09

Hi all just uploaded 10 photos taken yesterday. - Weather was fantastic, (got the sunburn to prove it !!!!!!)

Latest update from Sergio in sales is Foro - June, Golf Course October, Front line Villas starting in April, Club house starting July with a 12 month build, and La Isla lake to be flooded in two weeks. He also said sales are very slow but they are still selling.

Nice photo's Phil.........Nice to hear some positive news on the longer term development of the site........something we are all very interested in I imagine

Foro seems to be progressing well.   I hope Sergio's predictions are correct, but having spoken to him a couple of times myself recentley, nice chap that he is, I suspect he is very much programmed by PW to brief on the "Half-Full Optimistic line". That said  however I think June seems to be realistic for the Foro.   At the AGM recentley those who attended were told we would get a temp clubhouse to begin with - normal in such situations - so his info' about the clubhouse seems to conflict that - a 12 month build indicates the permanent one.   Hope it is true though, but I very much doubt it. 

I think it would be a great sign to see some fresh building work commence in April, - knowing that they are unlikely to start anything in this climate without a strong sales demand.  Developments like ours do need continual investment & growth if they are ever to reach the intended level of services & facilities we want to see.    Although out of my league, I also think Condado would benefit from having some luxury villas on the site - adding to the 5* potential.  A mix of properties would improve the asthetics of the place & break-up the rows & rows of Jardines & Penthouses too.

Lets wait & see.......

The photo's look great.  When you were talking to Sergio did he indicate that it would be just the front line villas or are they starting all 40.  The reason we are asking is we asked Polaris 5 months ago to downsize from a Ville to a Penthouse apartment and are still waitning for an answer despite numerous calls and emails to them.

Sergio said only  the front line villas were being started in April  - this is a change from the position he told us at Christmas when he said that the front line Golf suites were being started as well as the villas .

Hi Skel,  he did say that there will be a tempory club house in use when the 'real' one is being built and I agree that Segio is giving the optimistic timescales to us to keep us happy but he did say things change all the time and to keep calling in for updates.

We are back out again for Easter so lets see whats done by then - at least it keeps things interesting.

Hi Geoff,

Just sent you a PM re your query on our damp problem.  Sergio is the guy in the Sales office at Condado who seems to give everyone the updates on the resort progress.  (I understand from other threads that there is also a Sergio in Jardine 1 who is a Spanish resident and thats why the name keeps cropping up in postings).

Great pictures, I just wish that Condado was a little bit further on in terms of things to do, places to eat etc, as it will be hard to keep 2 teenagers happy at Easter and maybe summer, with what is there at the moment. Fingers crossed that the Foro will be complete before the school summer holidays.
