im looking for a job in alicante

Hi everyone,  we are in a bit of a panic because the properties are finished earlier as you know, PW are asking us to complete on the 5th August.
Firstly we are getting married this weekend(12th July) Then after returning from a family Honeymoon i have to change my passport then they want us to go to Spain where we have to do our NIE and plus we have no Mortgage in place.  We feel we are being rushed as October would be a better time financially, can anyone recommend a bank that gives you your statements in English cos i already have a Banco Popular and i get those in Spanish.  
So is there a deadline please we are on garden 8 now 9.

First things first congratulations on your wedding and I hope everything goes well for you , especially the weather.

We are buying in jardines 9 and due to complete on friday. We have arranged our mortgage with NatWest Spanish mortgages who are based in Gibraltar but we deal with a guy in the UK. Everything is in English and we are using their solicitors to complete who are brilliant. We have given a Power of Attorney so that we don't need to go out to Spain to complete and they are sorting out NIE numbers and everything else for us. We have also opened a Spanish bank account with SolBank , once again everything in english , on-line banking etc and our local branch on Puerto Mazarron ,just down the road from the apartments.

Hi,
    We have opened an account with Banco Halifax Hispania and they have a branch in Puerto Mazarron. Accounts can be opened without the need to visit a branch in,Spainand distance banking can be done via the phone or the internet, and everything is in English. There are no charges for sending money from a UK Halifax account to a spanish Halifax account. It was easy to set up and so far we have had no problems using the account.

We are visiting the Notory on Monday.
We opened an account with Barclays Mucia, online and telephone banking, no trsf charges from UK to Spain.
