I was asked to space clear this property by the owner as he had been trying to sell it for a long time and although he had had offers the sale had always fallen through at survey because of the amount of work it needed.
However, the owner believed that this was not the only reason. He had lived there with others and it had not been a happy home. He had even suffered a breakdown in the property and felt this could be affecting the energy in it. It definitely was a factor but the main problem was a spirit named John. He was very angry and although not related by blood felt that the property should be his. The overall energy in the house was despair and confusion. It was not pleasant. It had a very dark and depressing feel about it, which would most definitely affect the mental health of anyone who lived there and its saleability.
I also picked up that at some point there had been a fire in the second bedroom. The owner knew nothing about this.
I cleared all the residual energy and set John free.
Within 24 hours the owner contacted me to tell me that he had accepted an offer from a developer. The developer was not worried by the amount of work that needed to be done and the sale has now gone through.
A survey did pick up a fire in the second bedroom, the chimney breast in the loft space was still stained by the smoke. The owner was amazed as this clearing was done with just a basic floor plan and address. He also confirmed that John had been his lodger when he lived in the house and that he was a disturbed man who did indeed believe that the house was rightfully his. The house is now clean and clear for the developer to turn it into the wonderful family home it should be.
