A brief return

Oh dear, I'm back in the UK again! Sadly my brother has died so we have a cremation coming up in 2 days. It has been a difficult time recently but he was spared some of the pain and distress of old age and illness and that was what he wanted. So I am enduring some grey and dreary weather in the north-west (but it was snowing yesterday in our village in the mountains...) and will send him off with a blessing, some daffodils and a TS Eliot poem. Then back to Spain!

I came across your blog while idly googling "Atalbeitar". I met you last July/August when I spent a few days with Cherie and enjoyed some pleasant times with you and Steve. I'm so sorry to hear about everything you've been through since then with your illness and the loss of your brother. I'll send you the card I promised back then asap.

Thank you for your kind thoughts. Life continues apace, as you can see, and both the good and less good sides of life continue too! Some personalityś have not changed since your visit (if you know what I mean) but Steve and I are very happy here.
