ADSL in Spain - who is the cheapest provider?

Tele 2 currently have the cheapest ADSL broadband in Spain at the moment, according to the www.ahorrodiario.com Spanish language website. They have compared the cost of the 7 main broadband providers in Spain. They have used the total cost over 12 months to do the comparison and Tele 2 comes out the cheapest by a long way at €277.68 for 12 months. The second cheapest is Jazztel at €384 for 12 months, with Movistar (Telefonica) unsurprisingly being the most expensive at €471.36.

Interestingly, Jazztel do not have any minimum length contract, unlike the others so you are not tied to them for 12 or 18 months which is the norm in Spain.

ADSL prices do seem to be falling as more competition enters the market, which can only be a good thing.

This is fine, providing you have a phone line. We don't, but there are two operators working in our area. They are Rednet WiFi (British lads) operating from Ceghin, & Newcomban that operate from Caravaca de la Cruz. Both offer a reasonable service but require them to install their hardware (quite expensive) to your property.
