Mercadona - current offers
15 March 2010 @ 14:03

Mercadona is officially the cheapest supermarket in Spain, as noted in this blog post.  In common with all of the other supermarkets in Spain at the moment, they are running regular special offers, so there prices are getting even cheaper.  A couple that caught my attention were:

-12 cans of Steinberg 330ml beer for €3.00 (€0.25 per can)

-5 litres of Olive Oil for €10.60 (this is not Extra Virgen)

The Steinberg beer is definitely one of the more drinkable supermarket own brand beers and at €0.25 per can, one of the cheapest.

Steinberg 330ml beer can still be bought for €0.25 per can. It can also be bought for €0.65 in glass litre bottles!

Olive oil is now €6 for 3 litres, for a marginal decrease per litre by 12c.
