I did investigate PAYG g3 cards and mobile broadband, but the main draw back, as per using your mobile abroad is the price you havee to pay for roaming charges. Download capacity is also a problem. That is if you you UK PAYG. Best bet if you realy whant mobile broadband is to buy local. I have invested in a samsung netbook to take opportunity of free wifi. As our duplex is opposite one of the dishes i can do this from indoors. This worked ok with my small . PDA.
Best wishes

Hi, today I tried to notify Nationwide of travelling to Spain, (re Flex and visa ac)I say tried as they would not take the notification as this is no longer their policy to do so. I tried to insist and the good lady went away to confer, but same results. They did check my mobile number in case they needed to contact. Best take a second card to avoid embarrassment.

I am currently making plans for our long Spring/Summer stay. Last year we ferried from Portsmouth to Bilbao, Kept the car at AAT then flew back and forth, bringing the car back in October. We travelled each journey in one go (with many breaks) However Shirene is not so good on the Ferries and we are thinking of taking the shuttle and driving down through France and Spain. Probably taking our time and making it part of the Holiday.
Does any one out there have a proven itinary, with routes and over-night stops ect? I would appreciate any good ideas and shared experiences.
