Hi,

It's lovely to hear to some optimistic correspondence for a change! I completed on my apartment in Khios in May 2007. I have visited on 6 or 7 occasions and I love it! The apartments are fantastic and it's only a stroll down to the port or the town for some great restaurants. Times are difficult at the moment, but I firmly belive that in a few years when evreything has settled down it will prove to be a great buy. I hope to move out permanently in a few years and I can't wait!

I have a ground floor apartment in Khios. I was concerned about security as it is possible for anyone to walk up the stairs from the swimming pool to my terrace. I have already had someone lift the electronic blind on my bedroom window, presumably to look in, and the blind is now broken. My neighbour had already installed security gates in front of the living room and master bedroom french windows. The gates are the same colour as the development and very dicreet so I decided to have some fitted too. I have now received a threatening letter from AEC asking me to remove them and replace them with an alternative design, which seems ridiculous (and a little suspicious). I am very annoyed about this, especially since they have yet to arrange a meeting for owners - after all it is our development and surely it is the owners who should be making the decisions.

I would therefore be interested in moving things forward on the community front. It would also be good to see the 2007 budget.

Charlie, an agent with Nett Valley, showed me round some properties in the Lecrin Valley about 18 months ago. She was very helpful, even though she was aware that I wasn't able to buy at that time. So my experience of Nett Valley was very positive, though of course I have not purchased through them.
