An other two pennys worth, I think that the water features around the development are an eyesore. They spark the comment What is that, not wow look at that.. If it were just up to me, I would turn one of them into a hot tub and turn the others into proper features.

My two penny worth, I'm sure that with some thought an economical solar system of heating could be installed, this being said , I’m not sure that it would be worth that heating pool all year round would be needed, perhaps though the pool could be heated during March & April it could be left alone during the summer and heated again at the end of summer until after the AGM thus extending the use the pool to the times of the year when it is likely to sunny but not always warm enough to use the pool.

I suppose it would be nice to have a higher police presence in the area, as you know Gerard, I overlook  the sea front and it not unusual to see police patrol cars down there, what would be nice is if they would actually enforce the no entry signs and stop cars from driving and parking on the promenade. It would not matter if there was a police officer on every street corner but if they don’t enforce the laws, then they are just a burden on the suma payer

 

While I would concur that street lighting is an issue, one of the things I do like about the lights not working on the sea front is that they would actually spoil the view of the night sky. Also at night it is possible to watch the fishing fleet out at sea, lights on the promenade would also put an end to that show.

 

These are of course a very personal view point.
