Has anyone else had problems getting a condensing dryer to fit in their Los Patios Laundry cupboard.  I have already had to send 2 back.  The problem is despite the brochure stating they are less than 600mm deep the controls and the condensing unit take the dryer to about 630 mm.  I have now ordered the Fagor SF-80 which is the same model as the one in the elecrical pack of Macenas Group.  Unfortunately the Macenas Group wont guarantee it will fit and are not bale to tell me how deep it will be.

Hi I've just received an emal from Macenas stating that there is a problem with the terrestrial signal: -

About the TV, well, we have a little problem with the signal, because our signal is being blocked by the next village one, much stronger, unfortunately, our technicians are on holidays and we can not change the Aerial until September, however, right now, we receive satellite signal, including English and another international channels. The procedure is to connect the cable form the TV into the socket on the wall, and using a DVD player, transform this signal from analogical to digital.  This is being working so far, even thought sometimes it’s possible to loose signal, should work.

About the Sky, so far it has not been approved and all of this has to be discussed in the Community meeting, also if we think we have so many English owners.

I'm confused about converting the signal using a dvd player.  I have various players and none of them have any inputs for a TV signal.  I thought I would need some sort of Satellite receiver.  Any ideas?

No I've not visited since August 2007.  I was hoping to come over in June to furnish apartment but I can't see me completing by then unless the habitation certificate turns up soon.  I'm still wating for mortgage approval from Banco Andalucia.  I sent all my documentation to them about 6 weeks ago but I still haven't heard anything.

The Med group have written to me a couple of times suggesting I complete in April.  However, my solicitor has not yet received the habitation certificate so we have not agreed a date as yet.  We are now well past the contract date of Q4 2007.  My solicitor has told me this is not a large enough delay for a court to rule that the Med Group are in breech of contract.  I have spoken to local FAs and they agree that reallistic valuations of Los Patios Apartments are around the €300,000 mark.  This delay has cost me a lot of money both with exchange rates and ever changing mortgage deals.
