Hi has anyone been contacted by this company, we bought an apartment off plan in 2006 it was to be ready by January 2007, but didn't happen. The site was Pinares de mijas, this company is now saying we have a better chance of getting our deposit back, understandably we are a bit concerned it's not legit.

Hi was just wondering if anyone has been contacted recently regarding their deposit, a company called Lawbird have contacted us saying the law has changed again and that's the underwriters are being asked to pay bk deposits, it's a no win no fee offer, was wondering if anyone else has gotten this and if it was successful. How much will this cost if we were to proceed, we have lost all heart in the spanish system and to be honest have been left with nothing, we moved over in aug08 we had to rent as we were told it would be ready in the nov but it was'nt the kids got upset our stuff was in storage in belfast, when we signed the contract for the deposit which was £56,000 we were told the completion would be in dec07, we have lost a hell of alot and to be honest dont know if we can afford to pay out anymore, we had to come home and its only now we are stated to get bk to normal. We be glad off any advice you can give us as we are lost now.

Hi all ,

Got a letter today from spain its fromthe notary office telling us we have to prceed with the deed of sale on june th 17th they say taht they have contacted lawyers of spain but have not received any word bk as to why we have not continued with the sale as anyone else had any news. please let me know

im so sorry its has taken me so long to get bk but i have just been so disheartened by the whole thing that i didnt want to know anything, lawyers of spain havent been in touch with us since march this is because we just dont have the money to take this to court, to be honest part of me knows we wont see a penny our deposit at the time of transfere was £56,000  and the other half of me is hoping that we will just like everyone else.

Surely the builder has to pay something bk he was in breach of contract after all do we know how many people have pulled out and what happens to these apartments can he just sell them on? if so then why cant we get our monies bk?,

I keep praying that we will all get good news, well it cant get any worse lol i hope to hear from you soon.
