Hi Everyone

I have been speaking to another apartment owner today who was broken into during June whilst on a holiday stay in their apartment in block 3. They had their safe removed with all its contents but left everything else alone.

I hope they will write on this community website soon.

This must be a lesson to all with apartments on the Oasis and any way we can improve on the security I think must be looked at my ourselves and the developers along side Nel who has interests both sides as she works for the developers and is President of the community!!

I hope a date for the meeting in March is given out well in advance allowing as many of us to attend.

I hope this has been an isolated incident.

I have just looked at the minutes from the last meeting and someone asked about the use of WIFI and below was the answer. Not sure if this is correct or not.

'A request had been received by the Committee for connection to WIFI for

internet. A general WIFI installation in an urbanisation is legally not allowed

however'.

I was looking at the two aeriel photo's and they have doctored them to show more grass by the pools. Very strange.

Hi

I own an apartment in block 1b on the second floor and bought it in August 2004. I had a copy of the sales around 2006 and more were sold then than the figures that were released in the meeting last September. As far as I can remember about 45 of the 126 have been sold. I understand a few people sadly had to pull out because they were unable to gain a mortgage.

As far as maintainence is concerned I pay around 81€ per month, the developer does pay for the unsold apartments.

I am really pleased with my apartment but like many who bought there were shocked when they bulit in front of them. Those in Block 2 came off the worst.

 

I don't know who you are buying throught but a quick look on the net you can find them from 221,00€ a lot less than I paid and as long as they aren't in Block 2 are a real bargain.

Hi Kaush and Everyone.

I hope the news about the marina is right and not just old news to help sell the apartments that are mentioned at the bottom of the article. The Mijas Marina website hasn't been updated since 2005  http://www.marinamijas.com but that means nothing either. It would certainly benefit the area when it is done let alone the value of property in La Cala and the boost in rentals.
