Hi. We opened an account with Barclays in San Pedro del Pinatar a few months ago  and we have found them brilliant. There is no account fee, no minimum to keep in the account and they give us  cash back on our direct debit payments -  i.e. if your direct debits are say 100 euros a month you get a cash back credited to your account of 3% (it may be 2% , cant  remember without checking) Their online banking is excellent, in english and easy to navigate aroung the site. If we need to know any information, we just email our personal banker and she comes back to us usually the same day. The service we have received is second to none, probably better than you would get at barclays in the UK. ( I shouldnt really say that as I work for Barclays in the UK)

Hi Steve and Hayley.

I recently changed my Spanish bank account to Barclays Spain as they have a new account on offer which does not charge you a monthly service fee and as i have a british account with Barclays, they will also do free transfers between accounts. They are also arranging to transfer all my direct debits from my old spanish account for me.They also set me up for online banking which is in english. So far they have been brilliant. They  have branches all over spain , the one I used was in San Pedro del Pinatar and Ana who opened the account was very helpful, she gave us her Email address and telephone number if we need to contact t her with any queries. ( you dont get that with a British bank)

Its early days yet so can only give you my experiences so far, but its looking good .

Are the single beds still for sale as we are unterested. The only problem we have is transportation but we will cross that bridge if the beds are still for sale .
