Hi Andrew, We have now received 3 payments from Rushcliffe and are invoicing them ourselves. We did have problems and it took a letter from our lawyers threatening legal action if payment was not received asap before it was sorted. A couple of weeks after that we received the underpayment from the 1st invoice and and the full amount on the next two. We are due to submit our 4th one at the begining of March and are hoping that we won't have the same problem next time!!

Hi Rob, We also completed in January 07 and have just been informed that our apartment is now ready and furnished. We have not been asked to pay community charges as yet. How much are they and who requested it? Did you take advice from your lawyer?  As the development is still a building site, how can they justify these charges!!!!

We are heading out again on 1st March for 2 weeks and will post an update and latest pics on our return.

Hi Lisa & Ian,

Have also purchased a property at Palmeras block 11. We completed Jan 07 and are still waiting on our furniture package ! so have been unable to use it. We had a 2wk break there last October and its great to see the progress made since then, they had only just started on the main pool & the kiddies one.  Just to let you know that there is another forum for this dev listed under LAS PALMERAS CALAHONDA  which has a lot more postings and details of problems etc.

We are heading out again on the 1st March so will post an update and new photos on our return.

After numerous calls and emails to both our lawyers and Rushcliffe, we have now received our 1st rental payment, the total amount was incorrect but we have been assured that it will be rectified on our next payment which is also now due.

We our heading to the CDS on 2nd October, had hoped to stay in our apartment but again it is not ready, however the water and electricity have now been connected to block 11 and we our just waiting on our furniture package. Will take some pics of the development and post them on the forum on our return.
