We got a call from them again today, even though we'd told them weeks ago we wren't interested.Quite coincidental seeing as we've also had an email saying Aldea are being made Bankrupt and I'm sure they will want their work!!

Well the cheque came, and is now safely cleared and in my bank. Yippee!! Now all I have to do is try and get a decent solicitor to attempt to get the other half of my money (over 33,000 Euros), plus my deposit and any interest. Any honest recommendations are welcome.

Phew, I'm so glad I belong to this site. I've been getting calls off these people for the last few days, but they only managed to catch me in on Tuesday. After a chat in which they seemed to know all about Almanzora and Aldea, they said they'd send an e-mail and phone at 1pm today(Thursday) for my answer.

I too asked where they'd got my details, and she said it would either be the developer, the solicitor or one other person(who I can't remember). When I informed her that neither the solicitor(who would therefore lose me as a client), nor the developer(why would someone give your details to someone so you could sue them?) would've given her my details she changed her track and then  asked for my e-mail address. Still no e-mail or phone call!!

Hi all. We are due to have the cheque from our BG sent to our house. We only had one, even though we'd made 2 payments, so the other half of our money is still tied up. Aldea want 2800 Euros to attempt to get the rest back. Has anyone managed to get their money back if they haven't had a BG?

Also, are people tending to get any deposits back or interest on their money? And how much are the successful solicitors tending to charge please?
