We have eaten at the Straw Donkey.  Do not be put off by the looks which are a little bit like a transport cafe because the food is excellent complimented by a fine choice of very good wines.  It is on the high level at the far end of the port.

Just back from a fantastic week in CDS - I have difficulty in relating what Norman states to what I perceive as facts.  The "ghost town" is a flourishing vibrant place with renters and owners alike from all age ranges.  People I spoke to were very happy with theior accomodation and the site generally. Fantatic work done on PM4 with the gardens, a big thank you to Gary for his hard work and the other PM presidents.
We already have repeat bookings for next year!

Just returned from a week in CDS - gardens looking better work in progess, plenty of people around mainly renters.  Weather was fantastic pool was even better.  Security appeared to be in place and activly keeping an eye on all visitors - things continue to improve thaks to the on-going hard work of the Presidents and committe members.

some postive news,

 

Just come back from CDS after a wet week.  The rain certainly did fall in spain lots of it day after day - but no flooding.  We met with other owners from PM2 and PM3 and they were like minded in being positive and promoting the site.  Quite a few people around during the time we were there.  Also went over to Casares Golf Gardens and had a fantatic evening meal in the club house - food and service was superb and only a stagger away!  Also Finca Cortisein is motoring along so that will also bring the area up things are really getting better

Maybe Norman and Gill should set up their own website-,  moaners.com or can I suggest bitter and twisted.com.  to keep them busy so the real owners can use this website to promote the positivies and make the most of what is a difficult situation. 

We had a number of rentals last year all were very complimentary, although one of our renters was "pestered" by one of the above mentioned and complained to us, everyone has returned for at least another week this year.  The site had lots of activity (children, families etc) over the summer months, but was not too packed.  We cannot change whats happened we can only look to the future.

 

So yet again instead of declining to pay the community charge or encouraging non-payment you people cough up and shame on you for those people that do not.

Investments go up and down - remember the stock market!! - so yes the market is down at the moment, but itwill go up a steady nerve and common sense is all that is required.
