The Festival starts on 19th July and ends on 10th August.

Played the course 2 weeks ago and the faiways were very brown and dry.

However, played again today and the fairways were much greener as they have had an intense watering programme since then. If they carry on at that rate they should be quite reasonable in a couple of weeks time. The greens are OK.

Unfortunately the roof is not fully off yet. Been there this afternoon and both end sections are still covered with only the main centre section open. Did hear they were having problems with removing the far end section, so hope it should be resolved soon..

 It has one advantage though, it' been very hot today and so it does give a bit of shade each end when in the pool.

The bar is now approx 60% of its orignal size.

By the way, when Fran said to me that's it's opening Friday evening, that's the 3rd date he has given me but things do look a bit more promising this time.
