Thank you very much for your reply Maria.

I hope my lawyer will reply soon so I can put your questions to her, it has been over 3 weeks since my requests for an update!

Forum thread: Dissatisfaction with Spanish Lawyer

--------------------------------------
04 Jun 2009 12:00 AM:

I am having trouble getting my lawyer to reply to my e-mails and phone calls.

I am taking action against a developer, the Court has issued notice to the developer to respond within 20 days which expired mid March. My lawyer states that she cannot get the Court to take action against the developer for not responding. what can I do? To date it has taken a total of 3 years.

Is there a regularity body in order that I may complain?

Am I able to take action against my lawyer if I feel I am not being properly represented?

Forum thread: Dissatisfaction with Spanish Lawyer

Should a lawyer prove to be unsatisfactory or fails to carry out instructions, is there a professional body who will arbitrate?

Are Spanish lawyers subject to regulatory law?

If we are not satisfied with our lawyer and matters not resolved, what should we do?

Thanks in advance.......................

It is highly unlikely that any transfer company will compensate for missed flights other than a refund of the fare (if you are lucky).

Not much comfort if they are responsible for you missing your flight, but many travel insurance policies will cover for missed flights when using public transport.

Few, if any, will cover if your journey was made by a private or rental car.

Always ensure that you have adequate travel insurance and for those who rent their properties, it is advisable for many reasons, to insist that your guests have insurance and provide you with details when they book.

The protection and peace of mind of having cover is worth the small cost. There are some really cheap deals out there, use a 'screenscraper'  to find the best deal.

I have not tried it and am not likely to, not because of price or portion size, but warmed up rice - this is a major no-no due to the high risk of food poisoning.
