Norm de Plume have you actually withdrawn any cash yet and if so which bank's ATMs did you use? I've just read the Citibank info & it says other banks may charge a fee for withdrawing. Am guessing it is probably ok as that is a generic condition, but there are no Citibanks anywhere in the area so I want to be sure it's free before applying.

If free, it looks like the answer, as N&P is only the tourist rate.

Thanks.

Thanks Dave, I suppose we'd better stump up this year & at least get the admin a bit cheaper next year.

Enjoy your trip, hope the weather holds up. I drove over the Severn Bridge and along the S Wales coast today, but in the rain and mist it wasn't quite the same!

Hi all, we have just had the following email from our solicitors:

We have already calculated your taxes and the amount to be paid for this year is 485.12 euros  since you completed your property in 2007.

Our fees for dealing with the tax calculation  will be 104,40 euros per person .

The total amount for you to pay including our fees plus bank charges is 696.92 euros.

There is no indication of how this has been calculated and we have asked for an explanation as it is different to Dave & Maura's but we have the same type of apartment.

Has anyone else had similar?

We had planned to vote for the night security, however I think Sueddy's idea of 24 hr intermittent cover is excellent. Personally however I don't think 4 hrs would really be enough, but possibly 6 hrs would be a compromise? This would enable Ramon to continue with his other duties elsewhere on Huerta Nueva, but give us 25% coverage and also mean we could continue to ask Ramon for assistance if required.

This is dependant of course on someone being prepared to negotiate with Ramon!

We too miss Los Olivos :(
