We went out to almeria last week to change our solicitors, they informed us to contact Aldea by Phone and to inform them we would be coming to there office in Torrevjeca the next day for our files, please close them. 

Our new solictor told us that we may have a fight, but under NO circumstances leave the office without our files, if they refuse contact the Police. He also told us not to pay any monies for them closing the files.

We arrived the very next day and only got has far as the receptionist, who had our files ready, we signed a form which had all paperwork and BG,s listed and to cancel power of attorney  and any future dealings with Aldea. We was in the office 15 mins.

We didn't have any hassle from them, but we were ready for a fight with them.

I have soke to our solicitor who told me the same. We are now pulling out and changing solicitors

I received a e-mail today from our solicitors saying we now have to pay tax on our properties, which we still havnt got. The law was changed for expats etc on the 1st january 2009, anone else know anythink about this tax

I have also today received from my solicitors a PDF copy of collective insurance gaurantee 
for the first phase of the OTCC

All i am saying is that people who use this site, are sick to death with the way we have all been treated, and have suffered enough disappointment and i am sure i speak for the majority when i say that all we want to read when we come on this site is useful information and not continuing comments about other people on this site.

With regards to Golf.................... I would rather watch paint dry. But would play you a game of squash any day 

I also have my own company but do not advertise on this site and i am also 45
