To get your insurance certificates for mortgaged properties go to the www.hrgr.es website on the INSURANCE page, read carefully and follow the instructions, fill out the necessary application forms with your details and send it direct to the  Mapfre agent on the e-mail specified. But read carefully about the cover minimum your bank may specify ... you may need a top-up policy if its higher than the Community insurance cover level for your property.. As well as the beneficiary name the minimum cover is one of the required details for the application form so you may need to get this minimum from your bank first.

Also see post on this thread 6th Feb for more information

The Hacienda Riquelme section of the Polarisworld website (www.polarisworld.com)  has a 'Masterplan' picture which appears to list the only TC and SA facilities that are now planned. It is considerably down-sized from the original grand model of the HR town centre and its proposed facilities from a few years ago.  That sizeable Town centre is now not even planned. The short Town Centre list of facilities now looks to be very similar to just the single Clubhouse Building complex at El Valle which was their final downsized version of their original TC.

Because of severe restrictions on alterations to listed building internals it is also highly likely that none of these facilities will be in the Old Hacienda building.

For those unable to read clearly the finer detail of the facilities lists on the Polaris Masterplan picture on the website….

Town Centre List
SUPERMERCARDO
CLUB DE GOLF
RESTAURANTES
PUB IRLANDES
BAR DE COPAS
SERVICIOS
JEUGOS INFANTILES
(and in addition I believe there is a BANCO)

Sports Area List
2 PISTAS DE TENIS
2 PISTAS DE PADEL
1 PISTA POLIDEPORTIVA
GIMNASIO
CAFETERIA
ZONE JEUGO INFANTILE

As far as I know the only one official Polaris website is the www.polarisworld.com .... even www.polarisworld.co.uk takes you there.

As a rule...always be a little wary of sites with .net as you find in most cases they are not who they 'appear' to be and usually have not been able to get the proper .com or .co.uk URL as these have been allocated by the real companies.

It would be nice if there was an update ... but frankly I cannot imagine that a UK Property agent (Casa Blanca Properties) has any 'inside' information on the Polaris business plans...certainly no more than the HR folks visiting the Murcia Town Hall every few weeks. They are not anything to do with official PolarisWorld in the UK despite a similar website URL all dressed up as PW...but I guess he has grabbed people attention...which was the game...had a few people hit his website...so its paid off.

All the webpage information are typical of those from PW original material many years ago...but haven't been updated since.

Details of the Buildings Insurance cover under the Community Insurance with Mapfre has now been posted on the HR Owners Website www.hrgr.es/3.html

Basically if you have no mortgage then you are satisfactorily covered by the Community Insurance for Buildings and thats it... and you only need to arrange your own Contents cover and you can use Mapfre or any company you like. Mapfre have supplied a table of levels and quotes for information.

If you have a mortgage then it can be a little more complicated. Most mortgage companies/banks will have some some specific requirements. Most will have a minimum cover amount and they also must be named as beneficiaries. You will need a personal certificate to present to your lender. However, your actual Buildings cover under the Community Insurance is by your apartment quota and typically would be about 100,000 of cover. This would be fine in reality as a rebuild cost, but  It may not reach the higher levels that some mortgage lenders specify as minimum cover.  Some mortgage providers specify as high as 150,000 minimum cover and some as low as 75,000 minimum cover. It all depends on your own lender and you need to find that out and any other requirements. In these cases you will require a top-up policy to bridge that 'shortfall'. Mapfre have supplied some quotes on top-up.

There are quotes for Contents, Top-up and Contentes etc....and the detailed policy cover.

Happy reading.
