I feel you may have been led up the garden path by your agent when purchasing.

The tennis & mini golf are not run or even owned by Mar & Casas, they are owned (by the majority) by Águilas council & will be run as a private business when the resort is nearer completion.
These will then be open to the general public NOT just for the residents of Los Collados let alone Las Dunas and never were meant to be.

I have noticed that in may of your postings you have gone on about this.

Our administrator has absolubtly NO power or clout regarding these items & I think it would be much more productive if we spend a bit more of our time trying to get Las Dunas running smoothly.

If you speak to the builders they will be more than happy to give you a schedule of when certain items such as the road, security presence on the entrance etc will be done.

I dont know if you have been thinking about letting your property at all but some of us are! Therefore it would be nice if we could at times mention some positive items about Los Collados. You never know who is reading these constantly negative posts about things which are in fact nothing to do with our community.

I have had similar experiences of this sort of thing myself.

I now refuse to leave access keys with anyone other than Oasis properties.

They charge a small fee for looking after keys & doing monthly inspections on my apartments checking for signs of break ins leaks & other things which may prove problematic.

If anyone needs access they will (with authorisation) hand over a key to those authorised & keep records of these handovers. it's a lot harder for anyone to deny knowledge when there is written evidence!!

The guy who does this service is called rich. He can be contacted on rich@oasispropertiesaguilas.com The service i beleive is called property management?

It makes so much difference having the peace of mind that your 2nd home is being looked after so well.

I have a property on this site & have had a tenant in since 3 weeks sfter completion.

After looking around & speaking to many agents I decided to go with Oasis Properties (formerly Palm Properties).

I have been receiving an income from this property each month & although the tenant has changed I have still not had any gap in the rentals, they found me another tenant after 2 days of the 1st one finishing.

As for peace of mind, they are the only rental agent on site & for me that makes such a difference. They are soon opening their new office which also indicates to me that they are not about to go anywhere soon.

I waqs advised that Long term let is the best option at present due to the building work on the rest of the site.

I will be looking to rent it out to holiday visitors next year when the site is more complete.

I saw this thread on a general forum & thought you might understand why the hurt is necessary after reading this about someone elses experience with the postal service.  SEE BELOW

That, Roberto, is something I've always been concerned about. We DO have mail boxes sited almost opposite us by the communal pool but the Correos won't deliver to them as they are insisting they are re-sited at the end of our road. We have to go to the Correos to retrieve any mail at the moment. As they will only hold it for two weeks (I think it is !) then return it to sender we have never had any mail. Once the boxes are re-sited we could ask our keyholder to open our box & check, not that we expect anything. We've noticed each time someone has a delivery from Garcia's in Torrevieja the lads try to put  brochures in the boxes. Lately they've been leaving a stack on top of the wall. 

I sent a letter to a friend in Benijofar just after they had their post boxes organised (Previously Brenda had gone to the Correos in Benijofar or maybe it was Rojales, I forget, for her mail) & it was delivered to a neighbour's post box. This neighbour bought their property to rent out & are never there & she eventually was handed my letter 15 months later after the owners went to Spain to see their home & checked their box !
