We visit some more new properties suffering serious damp issues in Spain

Following on from yesterday's show, today Jim takes us to see three more properties that are having serious issues with damp. These problems seem to mainly affect ground floor apartments, particularly in new build urbanisations. A very informative and interesting review of this subject. Thanks for Jim of www.pipetek.net for his time in making the video

Excellent advice and an excellent subject.

Try doing one on air conditioning as I avoided being ripped off last year having get at least 4 installers out to estimate for putting in units on a pre-install.

Shows all good, keep it up.

First class expose of the building standards that are generally on a par with the legal/corruption standards.

What about a response from those who issued the occupation licences?

Why no pressure test of the drainage?

Not required in Spain?

Ince again first class.

Very good show with suitable warnings. Water problems are the most common faults we fin in our building surveys. Most caused by poor/absent damp-proofing with the problem starting immediately after the property has been built. Plumbing faults may only become apparent after use of the building, but as can be seen in the videos if caught quickly enough they can be repaired. Repairing absent damp proofing can be much more difficult.

Two Excellent Shows Justin and many thanks to Jim for his great contribution!
Jim really understands all the issues relating to damp problems that many of us suffer from here on the CDS and his advice about condensation as resolved an issue we've been trying to cure for months!!

Just brilliant Justin, I was enthralled.
It's always good to hear an expert talk on a subject.
Clearly Jim knew his business.
And your interview technique is very much appreciated.
You allow your guest to speak an keep your questions short.
Unlike the BBC who ask questions longer and more complex than the reply.
That's because they are all celebrities and think they are more important than the guest.
Thank you for a superb show.
