Our guest today tells us all about international schools in Spain

Today's guest, Dana, chats about international schools in Spain, including what they are like, who they are for and what they do there.  A great insight into this subject for anyone looking to move to spain with kids.

Really interesting listening to what Dana had to say. We are moving to Spain from South Africa in March and have booked our kids into an International school. After watching I know I have made the right decision. Thank you for providing me and a whole bunch of other mothers with relevant info. Take care

That was very interesting, and I love watching your shows every day!!!
My only comment would be: why not make the interviews a bit longer? It would be nice to go a bit deeper and get more information out of Dana. 30 minutes or so every day would be great :)

Jan, I think the reason for the short shows is purely technical - it's not easy to distribute on the web if they are more than 100MBytes or about 10 minutes. That's why they often break them in parts 1, 2 etc. But I agree with you, especially for interesting subjects like this it's never enough!

We enjoy your episodes. We live in the U.S. and plan on moving to Spain within a few years. That being said, we have a couple of kids and are interested in the international schools. A couple of things we would like to know are how much the international schools cost and what are the start and end dates of school or are they year-round?

Thanks for the great site!!

To Tom and Kathy Roe: Prices range from 400 euros per month per child to more than 1000/mnth/child. But generally speaking you tend to get what you pay for...
The dates are per the UK school calendar, so there's 2 months holidays in the summer - most international schools however offer a summer school too.
