We visit Adana, the dog rescue charity to see what they do and what help they need - Part 1

Today we visited the dog rescue charity in Spain, Adana.  We spoke to the people helping out there and looked around their facilities.  We were really touched by the work that the volunteers do there looking after 150 dogs that they have rescued.  Please watch the video and find our more about the great work done by the people at Adana.

It always upsets me to think of so many dogs (& other animals) not having the TLC they deserve. (I cried at this video I admit BUT what wonderful work these kind people do, don't they ?)

I sincerely hope that, by showing today's & tomorrow's shows from Adana, more money & more help will come flooding in.

The show was excellent, an insight into Adana.

Hi guys,
Just watched your terrific show. Haven't missed one yet.
I have to say that my wife and I are full of admiration for the great work that Adana is doing for abandoned animals.
It is a great credit to you that you have given them such good coverage on your show.
We live in Holland but will make a point to visit their shop and market stall on our next visit.
On our Web Page we have a link to your local papers and we read that someone had stolen a whole load of foodstuff from ADANA.
We cannot comprehend the thoughtlessness of this action, but I guess it's still not as bad as taking your pet dog to a busy motorway and abandoning it.
Thank you for keeping us 'out of towners' up to date on events. It makes us feel as if we were still there and belonging to a greater community.
Well done! and much respect
Leo & Marilyn

Let us hope that the local council see this video and come up with a way that they can help this very worthy cause. Congratulations to you for bringing this to our attention.

How nice to see the progress at ADANA's new Animal Shelter. Many thanks for the video and to Janet, David and Maria for giving us a preview of the facilities where lost and abandoned dogs and cats can be given some TLC, dignity and hopefully a new home. It is great to see that the failities at the Shelter are expanding with better support and comfort for the animals - WELL DONE ADANA.

Well done Janet and david for being so fluent in front of the cameras. Our great leaders could take a leaf out of your book!!

I would also like to mention the monthly coffee mornings at Longmans book shop in Estepona. these are held on the last Friday of every month, with all the cakes homemade, and a coffe 0r tea and cake for only €2.
Our next event is on Sat. Feb 14th for Valentines with a big ploughmans and pate +apple pie + glass of wine or coffee for 8.50€
Hope to see you all there.

We at Adana are very grateful for this opportunity to spread the word about the work we are doing. Please visit our website (www.adana.es) to keep up to date with how things are going, and to follow the dogs on their epic trek from Estepona to Santiago de Compostela (El Camino)!
