Today's trip to the white mountain village of Casares

This morning we went up to the village of Casares to do some filming.  We stopped at the wind turbines on the way, checked out the market in the village and of course...stopped for breakfast.  It was a glorious day today so check out our sunny day in Casares.

I wished I had stayed in Manilva now. It's freezing in Newcastle and snow is forecast for the weekend, so the match might be called off!!! It doesn't look like I'll need to bring those warm clothes over after all!

Hello from freezing Prague!

Today video was excellent and gave me positive energy. There is a cold freezing weather here in Prague, grey sky. The short sleeves looked tempting. To your question how much the breakfast costs - here in Prague you can pay for one toast or sandwich between 1-2 Euros and coffee is about 1-2 Euros if you know where to go. Prague is not cheap anymore. I had lived and worked in 2006 in Spain, in Catalunya and at that time Prague and Czech Republic was cheaper but now it is more expensive than Spain. The stinning fact to me is that price of properties in Prague or round Prague are the same average price as in Spain are. It increased rapidly within last 3 years...Have a nice weekend and thank you for very good videos about life in Spain. I miss the lifestyle so so so much. Jana H. from Prague

Congratulations to you both!

We have a place in Torrevieca and we pay 3.40 Euros for that in the nearby bar, so obviously cheaper to be in Casares lol. Great video really enjoyed watching it.

2 Euros = £2 - for coffee and toast that's expensive (same price as Starbucks!!). Thanks for the great show today, we will definitely visit Casares next time we're in Spain. Look forward to next weeks shows.

John, I think you'd only just get a coffee for 2 quid in starbucks. You can't get a toast in starbucks and a biscuit on it's own is expensive there anyway. Great show by the way.

Maureen, I didn't forget my wallet, the problem was that it was empty!

John, we thought it was a good price and I know which location I'd prefer...that's got to be worth something on it's own :-)

We really enjoyed filming today, it really was a gorgeous day.

Have a good weekend everyone.

I loved the show today. I could not help but notice how beautiful the weather was there. Here is the state of Philadelphia, the weather is very cold. Can't wait to visit spain again next year and eat until my hearts content. I am hooked on EOS TV now. Need my fix just about every day.

Here in Nicosia, Cyprus a coffee is EUR2.60 and toast is about EUR2.70, so considerably more expensive than Casares. And the Cypriots wonder why their tourist industry is suffering!
