Description

2 bedroom top floor apartment of a luxury detached villa in Urbanización Miramar, Almuñécar.

The villa is a cliff side residence with spectacular views of the Mediterranean and the town, which is only a 15 minute walk along the sea front. The nearest beach and shops are less than 5 minutes walk. A community swimming pool is alongside, scuba diving training and courses are 10 minutes walk and golf courses are within reasonable distance.

The town is very historical with a lot of sightseeing and some excellent sites to investigate, from the Castle of San Miguel to the 1st century Roman aqueduct and the Lori Ornithological Park and a huge number of excellent local restaurants serving the best in Costa Tropical gastronomy. The bird sanctuary and castle are worth visiting. Behind the town the foothills of the Sierra Nevada rise towards Granada where the snow capped peaks provide a picturesque backdrop for the view inland. Skiing in season is available on the Olympic runs, and the Alhambra in the spring and summer offers a tremendous insight into the lives of the Moorish occupation.

A few kilometers west is the Marina del Este, where arrangements can be made for trips around the coast and opportunities for snorkeling and seeing dolphins. Further still to the west (20 km) is Nerja, where the spectacular caves provide an interesting day out combined with a visit to the historic village of Frigiliana. Malaga airport is just over one hour drive away via the new motorway.

The villa offers the top floor apartment of a villa with the following accommodation:
