How much should I say and how much is enough??? So I apologise in advance if its too much, but its hard to write here to please all..

Hi.. I am the owner of this lovely 1st Floor Apartment.. I had purchased this place in Torrevieja for the Health benefits of the weather and the salt lakes, however Due to a recent skin condition I can now only use the apartment for very short periods (4 ish days) in the Winter Months when the sun radiation and heat is low, hence why I now rent it, so others can also enjoy this beautiful place.. However as this location is also very good for long term rentals, due to the local employment opportunities, schools and health service, I had missed out a few winter trips, so I purchased another lovely quaint apartment in a local relaxed small Spanish village called San Miguel de Salinas about 8KM North from Here. So I also rent this, so others can also enjoy this as much as I do.
Now when you fill in the contact form (at the bottom,, and please do, it would be lovely to hear from you, good or bad, about the property or advert, we can only ever learn after education) it will come to me, however I will forward this to my Agent Liz, who will in turn contact with you by phone or email or both. So.. Short Term Rental = The important things maybe.. It’s within walking (950M) to the Beaches, Shops and Bars, with road crossing all the way, so safe for older kids & folk. The local community Play area and pool is within 350 meters walk (check out on Google maps Satellite view (https://goo.gl/maps/6BtAprWLrpD2) to see (the empty) pool and tennis, football courts..

We have a Private (fairly large {see photo}) Roof Terrace/Solarium via stairs to the rear of the property for Sun Bathing. A small Balcony at the top of the main access steps {these are shared with neighbor} to the apartment and front door.
UK freeview TV at no extra cost. Broadband with WiFi (at daily or monthly rates as extra). Air Conditioning/Heating.
Local Car Parking at end of street {Cul-de-sac,, see the google map link}. Safe area for Kids, with 1 way streets and big community play area and pool.

Adjacent to the Salt Lakes in this Lively Spanish Sea Side Town of, Lovely Beaches, Marina, Cafes, Bars, Restaurants, Famous Street Markets, Superb Championship Golf Courses and being voted as one of the healthiest climates in Spain with the local salt lakes clearing the atmosphere and dramatically reduce the humidity levels makes this an all round place to stay.

Located on the sunny east coast of Costa Blanca roughly half-way between Alicante and Murcia is this lovely peaceful residential area, suitable for kids or all ages and with low rise 2 storey buildings, right next door to the lovely pink Salt Lakes, which provide salt to all over the world, lays this lively Spanish Sea Side Town, with its quaint, picturesque and charming beaches, marina, cafes, bars, restaurants, famous street markets, superb championship golf courses.

The duplex 1st floor apartment is in the urbanisation of Parque de las Naciones and with this local area being voted as one of the healthiest climates in Spain with the local salt lakes clearing the atmosphere and dramatically reduce the humidity levels makes this an all round excellent place to stay for health and tranquillity.

The 1st Floor apartment consists of 2 bed, 1 bath, lounge/diner, open plan kitchen, making the apartment very light and airy from front to back, {see Photos}.
A Double bedroom to the front, with twin/triple room to the rear, with bunk beds and a single bed, also a sofa bed within the main lounge, giving room for 3 kids, parents and friends.
A Full family bathroom, with full size bath and shower facilities and the private large rooftop solarium, with all day sun, over looking the ever changing subtle pink flamingo coloured Salt Lakes, make this a delightful accommodation for your stay, be that long term holiday, retirement or work related location, or just short term stop gap of vacation.

The area also suits the working family with its local schools and family friendly neighbourhood.
The community has a large play, sports and Swimming pool area a mere 5 mins dander (walk) to the edge of the community from the apartment, which operates between June and October and is within a secure fenced zone, with security/safety personnel.

The rental costs also include an allowance of 80€ towards the electric and water bills which make a big difference to the total monthly outgoings for our longer term renters. The extras would be Gas Bottles for the cooker {1-2 a year} and internet access if required, paid locally or via the agent.

You can walk/cycle around the salt lakes or to the nearest beaches by Torrevieja harbour in under 10 minutes.
The recently opened harbour pier promenade walk takes you about a mile out to sea and offers excellent views back at the town and marina.

Torrevieja has become a popular resort ever since financial investment by the local council. The Vista Alegre a half mile of traffic free promenade surrounded by bars, cafes and restaurants where you can sit and watch the entertainment of traders selling their wares, or flamboyant street performers trying to catch the attention of the passers by or just watch the locals discussing the day’s events. Playa de los Locos and Playa de los Curas are among a number of beautiful beaches off the promenade.

There is also an excellent Hippy Market once a week and the daily stalls markets every day at the marine, by the fairground. The town also offers many shops open daily, including grocery & hardware stores, hairdresser, newsagent, a pizzeria, with restaurants and several bars and would have quite a few fiestas during the year, in fact a fiesta can be found almost all the year round in a local village or town

The magnificent Habaneras Shopping Centre with a multitude of shops from Zara and Mango to H & M is only a 20 minute walk away or 5 Min car drive. Also in this area are Cinema, 10 Pin Bowling, Crazy Golf and more Bars & Restaurants.

Eating out locally is a pleasure (with all sort of Cuisines cater for, from Tapas to Vegan) or even just a short drive (Taxi Run, or if you are up for it Local Bus Ride) away up the N332 in both directions (NE to Campomar and SW to La Zenia) to find bargains from the Spanish seafood restaurants, to the English, German, Swedish and Chinese facilities with more and more Vegan and Vegetarian restaurants also opening around Torrevieja

In 2012, a brand new extensive shopping centre opened. The “La Zenia Boulevard Centre”, which has everything Habaneras has and a great deal more. It is located a 15 minute drive away, or via the local bus or taxi service and well worth a visit, as One can spend a full day there, shopping and dining.

Torrevieja town centre is by the large marina and is fronted by the idyllic and heavenly promenade, with its local restaurants, bars, mini Fair ground and street market craft stalls, with around 100 stalls open every day and more so at night 8-12pm with a main market displaying nearly 1200 stalls every Friday form 8am-1pm), with small beaches all along the Torrevieja town coast, like Playa los Locos, Playa del Cura, Playa Naufragos & Playa del Acequion,

Further beaches just a short distance away, Torre del Moro, La Mata and Guardamar up the coast and La Veleta, cabo Roig, Rocio del Mar, Punta Prima & la Zenia down the coast, all offerings beach bars, cafes, restaurants and shops of all descriptions for everyone.

Having your own Hire Car while in Spain does allow you the freedom to drive anywhere you want, when you want to, and definitely enhances your holiday experience, without worrying about public transport or taxis, but this can be a minefield and you can get ripped off. This problem being as we have found with renting cars, is that, it is not so much the advertised rental cost, which usually sound low and very reasonable, but its some of the extra's, like additional insurance and having to pay for a full tank of fuel etc.

So whilst Car Hire is handy if you want to explore the real Spain and drive further inland or up the coast for a few miles, it’s not necessary if your idea of a great holiday is to explore the local area and different beaches etc, as you can walk to most amenities in Torrevieja, which also has an excellent bus and taxi service. There is something of interest for everyone in Torrevieja, the Marina, Large Shopping Centres, Local Markets, Restaurants, Bars and Nightclubs. There are also stacks for kids and big kids alike to do locally, with Go-kart's, Multi-Adventure Park, Safari, Small Water Park, Cinemas, Bowling, with also many local Arcades, not to mention boat trips.

Further afield are day trips to Alicante, Cartagena, Murcia and Benidorm, by car, local bus or arranged bus trips, or a bit Closer by is the natural park of La Mata, National Nature Parks (over 250 different bird species have been sighted here)

For the Golf Enthusiasts the apartment is also ideally situated, being only a 15 minute drive from the many superb championship courses like :- Club de Golf at Villamartin, and Real Club de Golf at Campoamor also La Finca de Golf and Las Ramblas, with the world famous La Manga Golf club only 40 minutes away.

Further afield stunning long and sandy beaches are at :- Torre del Moro, La Mata, Guardamar up the coast and La Veleta, cabo Roig, Rocio del Mar, Punta Prima & la Zenia down the coast, offering beaches bars, cafes and restaurants everyone.

With two main airports Alicante & San Javier (Murcia) about 45 Mins drive away, gives this coastal town a good location for many airlines and low cost suppliers.

Long term rental @ 400€ per month is preferred, (minimum of 4 months in the Oct to March period and 6 months minimum in the April to Sept period at this rate), however if available shorter term rentals {less than 8 weeks} will be considered from 175€ - 375€ depending on season and length of stay.

It is preferred as No Pets, however we have in the past availed to pets under strict conditions and withholding additional deposits.

Definitely No smoking within the apartment (A 100€ cleaning supplement will be charged if suspected)

The apartment is managed by a lovely Local Agent, Liz Moore of Sangria Properties, ( info@sangriaproperties.com or by telephone 0034 9 6677 2553 for further information and availability) who will assist you’re your booking scheduling and arrangements, payments and will also meet you at the property on arrival and give you the keys and explain the ins and outs of the apartment, and how things operate. They will also be available to call to offer prompt assistance with any apartment issues should they occur during your stay.

If you are arriving very late, when shops may be closed, the Agent can also offer a 'Welcome Pack' of essential groceries (milk, butter/margarine, bread, tea, coffee, sugar, water, orange juice, jam, toilet paper, soaps and kitchen roll.) for about 25 Euro's. A specific shopping list can also be arranged to suit your requirements at 20€ plus the value of the shopping cart.

The agent also looks after the final departure cleaning of the apartment, which includes, the apartment floors and bathrooms and the washing and ironing of bed sheets and towels etc. For which there is a mandatory charge of 50 Euros per stay, usually paid in advance or for longer rentals taken for the deposit charge.

The Agent can also arrange for a meet and greet service at the Airport for pick-up and drop-off service right to the apartment, so you won’t need to follow directions. This is bookable at 50 Euros (each way) for either Murcia or Alicante airports if you require, however advance booking by at least 5 days is required.

They can also arrange for car hire at reasonable seasonal rates and for those of you that may be a bit nervous of just jumping into a car at the airport and finding the apartment etc. They will pick you up at the airport, so there will be No queuing at the air port to get your hire car, just walk straight out and start your holiday, as they will then take you right to the apartment, where a Hire Car will be waiting for you. At the end of the rental, again they will pick you up at the apartment and take you back to the airport, so there is no getting lost on the way to the apartment or even worse on the way to catch your flight home. This is a little dearer (not by much) but for peace of mind its well worth it. You can then practice driving around a little until you feel confident to go on the major roads. Car rental does not have to be for the full duration of your stay, but must be a minimum of 5 days each time and this will then still include your airport transfers within the price if fully arranged in advance.

Located in a wee Spanish village about 8KM from the coast and 10KM from the town of Torrevieja. Its a 1st Floor apartment within an enclosed block of 16 properties with all floors serviced with a lift, offering a communal roof terrace with small swimming pool and paved and artificial grasses seating area with panoramic views of distant hills, Torrevieja, Mediterranean Sea and the beautiful pink Salt Lakes.
