We review some of the programmes to watch on Spanish TV

In today's Siesta Show we review some of the more popular series' and shows on Spanish TV. Even if the length of the ads on Spanish TV bother you, it's a great way to understand the Spanish and learn some of the language too.  Have a look at what we think of some of them.

I like Cuentame como paso too but it isn't being aired at the moment, is it? Someone also recommended El Intermedio y Hombres de Paco, don't know if anyone has seen these?

I think that if you are going to live in a country then you ought to watch some of their TV to have a little idea of what is going on as well as to pick up some of the language.
The best Spanish TV programme is "Sé lo que hicisteis" on La Sexta. Watch it and you'll know what is going on in the world of "corazon", sport and politics. The best series is "Cuéntame Como Paso" which is also a useful history lesson. Not being broadcast at the moment but the 1st season is being repeated daily on www.tve.es
I can't take the comedy series like "Aida" or "Escenas de Matrimonio", the acting is far too over the top for my liking.

interesting show, but haveing lived in the mountains for 3 years and watching spanish tv, i can not say it did my spanish any good [sorry] a lot of the talk shows ended up shouting at each other, all talking at once, can't learn any spanish there, and the other programes were so tacky all you could do is laugh!remember 'El Dorado' [yes i am very old] they are like that in spanish !!...bet you hate me !
Ok i have moved now near to the coast, and have English tv, the very nice spanish man that connected it,decided to remove my spanish tv, so at present i can not comment, til he returns and reconnects me, manaña is the order of the day. Tracey said the kids are 8 and act if they are over 50....well i am over 50 and act as if i am 8!!!!...it takes all sorts.
