The build was stopped over a year ago without any completions, so the questions relating to quality of build are not strictly appropriate. The reason for the poor 'rating' is that we were never informed about any problems by the builder or agent and actually found out about the stoppage from a forum on your website. The service from both, and our solicitor, is still very poor.

unfortunately this development (similar to most spanish developments) has been delayed, I am not phased by this as far as I am concerned the longer it takes the more time I have to save some extra pennies, but I guess some people maybe disappointed.

They have not provided enough facilities. There is nothing to do in the immediate vacinity at night. There is no bus service. It is too isolated.

The Developer Sold properties fully aware that full planning was not in place. We purchased of plan in good faith through a very reputable company Parador 3years ago. We are currently out there on our own with little or no help trying to retrieve are monies. We officially gave notice last Sept 06 that we were pulling out.The developer never came clean and always reported in a way to make things actually better than than they were. ie Things are progressing well we will have full planing Authority by? we have had these repots on many an occassion our patience finally ran out.We now have many sleepless nights just wondering when we will have our 60k plus returned. Mywife is suffering from severe stress re the on going saga.

their was no contact from the developer until 2 months ago when a glossy mag appeared in an artists form giving the outline of acc, meanwhile our money is frozen we have recieved a bank garuntee that through a website takes a long time to recieve any monies back.
we have stood by all the rules as laid out by the agent /developer.
at this time we do not know what to do next

Despite the delay in build, Huma are pulling out all the stops to complete the development as quickly as possible now that the planning is finalised. (Although the roads are still to be passed) They have notified us of progress throughout and assured us that they have brought in extra builders to help with the construction. Buyers from their previous site have bought again on the new development, so that is a good reassurance.

I paid the deposit, a further payment (totalling (€50,000). The deadline for completion passed and a further 6 months too. I discovered the development was not legal. Fortunately, there was a bank guarantee in the contract. I took legal advice from a Spanish lawyer in Canterbury and I finally succeeded in getting a full refund. According to Spanish law there should have been a further 6% interest per year refunded to me. I have not paid a bill sent by the Spanish solicitor (recommended by the Agent). I consider I was lucky to get my money back!
